At the 2nd biennial California Adaptation Forum, the American Society of Adaptation Professionals (ASAP) named Tijuana River Site Coordinator Dani Boudreau a runner-up for its Regional Adaptation Leadership award. Dani has been an active collaborator in the San Diego region for years. She has championed outreach and interpretation of sea level rise modeling through the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative and helped spread adaptation practices and education with the Climate Science Alliance—South Coast, all while leading climate adaptation planning efforts for the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve (TRNERR). In the adaptation field, Dani is a trailblazer who is not afraid to experiment with new techniques and approaches. She is a critical asset to the FloodRISE team and is moving the needle on climate adaptation beyond FloodRISE through her dedication to train, engage, and build a community of adaptation practitioners across the San Diego region.
