In partnership with USC Sea Grant, the County of Orange, and the California Coastal Conservancy, the FloodRISE Research Impact and Integration Team convened the Orange County Sea Level Rise and Coastal Impacts Workshop at the Beckman Center of the National Academies of Science and Engineering on February 23, 2015. This gathering brought together coastal resource managers, decision makers, and other stakeholders from the Orange County Coast to learn and exchange ideas about current adaptation planning and new sea level rise modeling technologies for the Orange County region. Meeting attendees also discussed the current and desired future state of countywide collaboration across agencies and sectors with regard to coastal impacts from climate change.
